[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the ThinkPad X1 Carbon to replace my trusty old ThinkPad 510. I tried out several other computers before coming back to the ThinkPad, mostly because of how much I like the keyboard and mousepad. The X1 Carbon is much faster than my old ThinkPad, and I love the touch screen. The only thing that seems to have dropped in quality is the sound system. Like others have mentioned, putting the speakers on the bottom of the laptop leads to muffling and weird sound distortions. If it weren't for that, this would be the perfect computer for me.

My third X1 Carbon and as always, excellent performance, best keyboard in the business and MS Excel's best friend - the red pointer. First time buying as a personal device and pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to set up with MS Office Professional, Acrobat, printer drivers and other software. Highly recommend for heavy Excel users and for business.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this computer for work. It has kept up with the number of programs I run simultaneously so far. However, the hardware for connecting to the internet wirelessly is not the best. I am constantly running the troubleshooter to reconnect. After following the online Lenovo wireless remedy instructions the issue has improved, but has yet to be resolved.
