[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it for day trading. Quickly streams large amount of data/charts with multiple windows and excel running. I don't like the feeling of the finger pad but I use my Bluetooth mouse anyways. Sometimes, the internet is glichy but thats probably because I am using internet explorer.

Perfect except for out of the box battery issue

My only issue so far is that I happened to get the one with the battery drain issue. I cannot have it in sleep mode because it drains as if active. It will need to be fixed which is a bummer for an out of the box item.

The genearl condition is ok. However, the trackpack and trackpoint are not carefully cleaned, with lot of sign of heavy useage. The left click button is not functioning well. Anyway, I could use trackpad instead. This is what you get at this price. No fancy original box is included, just a regular box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the IBM/Lenovo, Lenovo laptops over 20 years. The two Fortune 100 companies I worked for issued these laptops to all staff personnel and sales employees. I found them to be rugged, reliable, and very suitable for business use. The one thing that stood out the was the feel of the Lenovo keyboards. No other brand has a better feel than a Lenovo keyboard.
I've owned many other laptop brands for PERSONAL USE and I experienced at least one or more problems/issues with all of them. Just recently, I decided to upgrade and decided that I wanted a quality machine that was great for general uses, had a great keyboard, great for business applications, lightweight, rugged and reliable. I heard of the X1 Carbon 6th Gen and did some research on it. Yes, it was expensive but it was also touted as the best business use PC on the market.
All the laudatory reviews about the X1 Carbon was spot on. This is the first laptop that met all of my personal criteria with flying colors. I am elated that I did my research and remembered how great this Lenovo brand performed back when I was in the corporate world. Now, I am retired and I am enjoying my purchase. I don't think I could ever use any other laptop brand other than a Lenovo X1 Carbon or Extreme. I want to thank the Lenovo folks for carrying forward all of the positive attributes of the original IBM Thinkpad and making it even better.

I really wish I could love this laptop. I moved from a MacBook Pro and initially love it, but that quickly stopped when I started having issues. I would get the blue screen of death twice a day, both during light gaming and regular internet use. I ran all the diagnostics I could with no luck and reinstalled Windows, but it never helped. I have ordered a T480s with hopes this will go better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been many years since I have owned a laptop that was not an Apple and did a little research about PC models. I choose the Lenovo ThinkPad for the roughed body and system specs. I didn’t quite know what to expect not having ever seen one other than online sources. Superficially, I was immediately impressed by the way it was boxed, the matte finish and shape. It reminded me of the sports car I was crazy about in the 1970’s the Triumph TR7, the Wedge. It is unbelievably light weight but feels incredibly solid. The keyboard is the finest and easiest I have ever used in a laptop, with a excellent and larger touch pad. Screen/Display is superior to any of the Apple products I own...iPhone, iPad and iMac, including far less eye fatigue. Super fast processor and getting back into using Windows has been painless. I couldn’t be happier!
