Giant fail for Older photographers

I bought this computer about 2 months ago. I chose it over several others in its class even though it cost more because of the card reader. Well, it arrives and I find out that it only reads the photo card without the adapter...with the card slot sitting on tip of the SIM card slot. The sim card must be put in holder which is attached to the dual slot cover and then is inserted into the sim card slot of the two slots which sit one on top of the other. It is extremely difficult to handle the small SD card as well as see the correct slot to use. Then it it VERY difficult to get the card out as it must be pulled, there is not ejecter. Today after being very careful i put the sim holder/slot cover into the wrong (SD) slot. Gently pulled it out and out came several metal bits...now, no surprise, it doesn't work.. TERRIBLE DESIGN!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been a Thinkpad user from the days of IBM Thinkpad, and Lenovo kept on the legacy of excellent build quality to date.
I recently purchased a 512/16 GB X1 Carbon and am extremely satisfied with it build quality, performance and yet light weight. The black carbon body with a sleek design is an attractive equipment to carry, at the same time it give good battery performance and quite-fan-technology.
