ThinkPad is simple design and reliable PC I have confirmed again. I was using another thin mobile PC. That PC's battery is expanding during 1 year half. Then, I changed to ThinkPad X1 Carbon. I feel ThinkPad X1 Carbon is more reliable and stronger though it is the similar thin-type mobile PC.

I have been happy with this machine so far. Speedy, well designed, good screen, great keyboard. Excellent set of ports.
Main concerns:
* fans come up often when machine is plugged and machine gets very warm (even if not running intense tasks)
* unable to configure pens to work on the touch screen (e.g., surface pen)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like my Thinkpad X1 Carbon. It is a dream to type on, light and the battery life lasts me all day. It performs for what I need. Mainly, web browsing, office, some light photo and audio editing.
I've had several Thinkpads and the X1 is my favorite.
