[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this laptop over a month ago and have been incredibly pleased with the results. I have been a thinkpad owner in the past and just needed to upgrade memory and processing speed. The X1 has done everything I hoped it would do. It is a great laptop for professional and personal use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop has everything you could want in it... and then adds even more. Tactile keyboard (unparalleled in the laptop industry), fast performance, high internal customizability, a battery life that lasts a dozen hours minimum, a fan so quiet you wonder if it’s even on, and speakers that’ll blow you away. This laptop is unbeatable; there isn’t a comparison. Ask yourself what you want in a laptop, and you shall receive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I type this on the very object of my review, I am impressed most by the comfort of the large keyboard and its very satisfying key travel, the accuracy and quality of the trackpad, and the resolution of the UHD screen. Looking at the specs, you can see it is plenty fast for any standard web/word processing/spreadsheet work. It also helps that it's nice looking in matte black and I've come to enjoy little extras like the fingerprint reader and camera cover (for privacy/security). This was not an inexpensive computer, but I now see why they cost what they do- it's why a Lexus costs more than a Toyota. Both are fine cars that are reliable, well made, and have everything you need to get from A to B, but if you want the "luxury" experience, you get the Lexus. This computer is the Lexus.
