[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving my new ThinkPad. I am coming over from a Macbook that I hated. This Thinkpad is a business man's perfect laptop. I am a commercial real estate broker and Iove this laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a lightweight system with high-resolution and graphics-intensive capabilities. This is one of the few that fit the bill, and is so far performing flawlessly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first new computer in six years and a switch from Mac back to PC—very satisfied with the speed, capacity, and lightness. Really enjoy the feel of the keyboard (I type a lot for work) and the lightness of the product. Traveling for work is easier now!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having only had Mac laptops for the past 10 years, the X1 Carbon is my first jump back into a Windows machine. I still use it alongside a (2018) Macbook Air, but the X1 Carbon checks my boxes for ample processing power in a small, lightweight package. A great keyboard and excellent battery life are the biggest pros, while the only real cons are an inconsistent fingerprint reader and a lid that's a little frustrating to open without a notch to get it started. So far so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this for 30 days and have not been frustrated yet. It is processing some of my heavier use programs. Love the speed and ability to multi task with ease. Lightweight and comfortable to take from job to job. Great battery life as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Thinkpad since a T-series I bought several years ago, but after looking at a few competing options in a new laptop i decided to go with the keyboard I prefer. But after a couple of weeks with it I have to say I'm glad I went with the X1 Carbon.
I got the version with the WQHD screen, IR camera, and 512GB SSD. It's fast, thin, and light. I'm pretty sure this would be Tony Stark's laptop. My one complaint is that it can get fairly warm on my right hand when running a couple of VMs, and I do hear a brief, quiet "clicking" when the fan throttles down after a cooling session.
That said, it's just a pleasure to use and I still grin a little each time I pick it up and open it.
