[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with the X1 Carbon. It is incredibly light weight, and the battery life is very good. The shipping was fast in spite of some reports that shipping estimates were unreliable. Very fast computer, and the keyboard is the best I’ve used (laptop)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a traveling consultant who relies on my laptop to do my job in healthcare IT. My last computer (not a Lenovo) was more expensive and not even a year old but I had random issues depending on the client site/network I was on resulting in countless minutes/hours of frustration and lost productivity. Since I purchased my X1 I have been trouble free and can spend my time focusing on work when on the road and my family when home. I don't have to worry about glitches, workarounds and embarrassment when presenting to my clients. The ThinkPad just works! No drama, no stress, just turn it on and go! And the keyboard is by far the best in class which is important when working.... well anywhere! It's also plenty powerful enough for gaming in my free time... just don't tell my wife that!
As long as Lenovo keeps making quality products like my X1, I will never buy another brand again!

Cool, modern, light pc which i bought 3 weeks ago and i am liking it a lot so far. I got it for personal work and all the apps and functions open very quick and work in a very efficient way. At the beginning, the battery was not lasting long as informed on the website but by now it seems that it got calibrated and it is lasting for more, less 10hrs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to replace my portable workstation (a Lenovo Thinkpad P50) because I was tired of the weight of the computer and the old-school power brick. I am not disappointed. Boots up within seconds. Weight is less than half of what I was carrying. I did replace the SSD with a 2TB NVMe (Samsung) and popped in a 400GB microSDXC card to accommodate my storage needs. The SSD replacement was very easy. Having a privacy shutter for the camera was a nice bonus. The only downside is needing a dongle for a wired LAN connection (rarely needed for me though)..
