[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a user of nearly every laptop brand known to man, I find myself returning to Lenovo’s for their reliability and durability.
When Lenovo came out with the x1 carbon, I was excited and soon hooked. Since that day I have owned the 1, 3 and 4th generations- all still crush it, all still working powerhouses. As the way of family life goes, my laptops have moved onto the other members of our party, but all still look and function as well as they did on day one.

We also have two yogas- the 2nd and 3rd generation- this laptop was looking to replace the 3rd gen, which is amazing for many things- especially being a tablet like experience- but it can struggle to handle the simultaneous files I need open and large databases I need for work.
The 6th gen is the best of both things. Light like the yoga, but built with the engine we all know and love. I love the texture, slimmer body and feel of this Laptop- but mostly how durable! I have been carrying this bad boy around for the last month- through airport, oversees, to work, in my bag to the gym. This baby is solid!

Bought new but because the vents are on the bottom, it gets very hot when on my lap. It needs additional cooling vents on rear or sides. I’ve been a longtime Lenovo user, but this overheating is why I’m returning this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time purchase from Lenovo. Though the shipping took a while to get here, I'm loving the product so far. The keyboard really feels nice and I never had an issue with finger print unlock. One thing I'm not fully satisfied is that it gets noticeably heated/ makes loud fan noises when you use it with the charger plugged in which I never had an issue with any of my previous laptops. Also the battery life doesn't seem to last as long as advertised, but that could be due to my display settings, etc. Just subtracted a start because of overheating problem. Would recommend overall.
