Fantastic right out of the box. The sign in / boot up process is lightning fast. The camera / microphone system works very well - my first client experiencing the X1 commented about the clarity of sound / picture. The X1 replaced a laptop with an I7 processor /Windows 10...all I can say in the first two weeks using the X1....what a difference.

the keyboard is brilliant, the display is very good, and the laptop is very light. however, I hate smudges on any part of my laptop, and this laptop smudges everywhere. the surface, the keypad, everything. I would give photos but I don't have it on my at the moment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
