The MXT400 Takes GMRS to the next level.

We're on our 7th year of fulltime travel as of this writing. We have been using Midland GMRS handhelds for years. The limiting factor had always been range. But when we got our MicroMobile MXT400 installed, all of that changed. This radio is easy to install and use. For situations where one of us is in an area of non-cell coverage and the other is miles away, this radio keeps us connected clearly! Just the other day, my wife was in the middle of BLM land without cell coverage. I was in town getting some supplies and my wife was able to reach out to me with crystal clear precision to ask me to pick up some things she wouldn't otherwise have been able to communicate. For our lifestyle, this radio is an indispensable addition to our communications arsenal. I'd highly recommend this unit.

Installed this in my Wrangler. It looks great and functions amazing. I have been extremely satisfied with its performance. I installed the ghost antenna for everyday use and it works great without being noticeable. I also bought the longer antenna for use when off-roading though dense terrain. It does a great job extending the range. Love the whole set up!

Just purchased and installed. Easy to mount, channels pre programmed, can't wait for everyone to have these instead of the CB's It's smaller than most CB's and has 40 watts of power (a little more tuned with the right antenna). Good stuff.
