So far very happy. Very large upgrade from a cb radio. Fit and finish is very nice. Buttons click crisply, the detent in the knobs are crisp.
Only issue I had was the roll bar mount is small to fit around my arb bumper grill guard, but the antenna mount fits inside one of arb’s light mounts so an easy solution.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We’ve used the hand held versions for years. We were satisfied but chewed through AA batteries way too fast. we installed the MXT400VP3 micromobile in three machines and so far they are fantastic.

Ok so far i am very pleased with this radio, very easy install, I already made a few contacts. Lets just say i live on Long Island Ny, and i reached a repeater over in Bridgeport CT, very clear like i was standing right next to the person.

Appears to be a quality constructed radio with rugged mounting bracket. The radio works well with a simple user interface and operation. The only negative I have yet to find is the radio is not equipped with a cooling fan, although it appears based of the casting on the back of the radio one could installed by a professional or someone with an understanding of circuitry . Not having a cooling fan right out of the box is the only reason I don't give it 5 stars.
