Purchased this radio and 4 Mxt115’s to use on family farm also adding a 6dB gain antennas. The radio is very well built and allows us to communicate 10-12 miles clearly, without use of a repeater. We will be adding more of these radios in the future.

I purchased this unit in December after purchasing an MXT115 and two(2) MXT275's. Range and clarity far exceeds a CB. Read instructions carefully when programing RP channels. Using unit as a base station. Midland 6db antenna's work well.
