I recently purchased the MXT400 bundle and am very happy with it thus far. Installation was very easy and to the point. I can communicate clearly with friends/family who have similar radios as we travel on and off road on our adventures. I'd highly recommend this setup to anyone interested in a good radio when traveling,

I bought this about two weeks and installed it in my Toyota Camry. I traveled from one end of Tennessee to the other and back and only heard a few conversations. I tried to get a radio check, but never got a response.
I did however speak to someone in a campground on one of the lower powered channels. I thought more people would be using these radios.
