I am for the most part very happy with this chair. I wish the casters rolled better. They tend to be very sticky, and the chair does not roll over my surface easy.
Just what I needed to promote good posture when working at the computer for long hours. It also had to be comfortable. I thought it would cause fatigue, but to my surprise it is a joy to sit on for long hours!
Unless you're under 5 feet, this ball and bass set up is simply too low to the ground to receive any benefits from it. Also, I had to continually pump it up because the air would leak out. I am 5'5 and 140, so I don't believe it was me.
I love my new chair for work but was very disappointed to find that I can not just buy the 52 cm ball as a replacement.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased as a work chair. Loved it at first then metal support arm broke at welding. My yoga ball turned into a egg shape. Contacted Gaiam and after sending in supporting photos they sent a new metal support arm only to have it break within 2 moths. I am a 5'2" 120 lb women.
I purchased one to sit on at work. I started using just a balance ball at first, but was afraid I would turn suddenly or reach too far, fall off and crack my skull open. The first day using this chair, I had tremendous relief in my neck and lower back. It forces you to sit up straight, yet feel relaxed. I feel like I'm sleeping sounder too. So far 2 other coworkers have ordered this chair.
I use this ball at work because I had back problems and my chiropractor recommended it for sitting better properly and moving more so that I am not in a constant stationary position.
