I am 5'8" and 140 lbs. I use this at work and it is the perfect height. Several of us share it and some people are much shorter than me and we are able to share it back and forth and it works great for everyone. Buying one now for myself at home. Lots of great exercises you can do on it too so not just for sitting at the computer :-)
I bought this ball about a month ago, and am so glad I did. It helps me keep my posture and is comfortable too. The wheels allow me to pop up when I need to do it quickly, from my desk. The only thing I don't like is the wheels lock often when I don't want them to, and I end up "grinding" the wheels. I prefer them unlocked but it seems to still find a way to lock. I think others will like that feature though, so no big deal.
I had the original chair with the back for years and replaced it with this one after it wore out and I realized that I never use the back. Oddly, this one is much smaller, but still extremely comfortable. The one annoying thing is that the wheel locks are positioned where I keep hitting them, but otherwise it's awesome!
This could be a really great product if it had some more height to it or if it was adjustable so that it suits short people as well as average and tall people. I am only 5'6" and I feel a bit like a 4 yr trying to see over the kitchen counter when I am sitting at my desk. So I am a bit disappointed, but I like the concept which is why I just adjusted my 3 star rating to a 4 start rating. Depending on your height this could be GREAT or what too short to bother with. Perhaps in time I will get used to the lower vision at my desk. Time will tell.
I bought this product because there is research that supports the idea that "people who sit less, are healthier." This chair/ball makes you want to "sit less" so, it is perfect! I highly recommend it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

At first I loved my new chair but it didn't take long for it to break. 1.The wheels lock too easily by normal foot movement. 2. The wheels do not work on concrete so are always sticking. 3. So you have to reach down to unlock the wheels, and then use a rocking/ thrusting motion to get it to move which...4. bends the chair in the middle which holds the ball. And lastly 5. pries the section up to which the wheels are attached. Which makes the chair a useless piece of trash.
