I've experienced the Otter Box durability with my teenager's phone case, but never liked the tactical look or the rubber finish. The rubber finish seemed to be prohibitive to slide down in a small purse pocket, or suit pocket. I liked the fact that the Symmetry Series maintains the slim feel to the phone yet adds the durability that is required. It also maintains the color of my phone and doesn't cover it up! I specifically purchased my phone for the color : ) Works perfectly for my needs!

The case seems great, altho luckily I haven't dropped my phone, so I can say for sure that it would keep it from breaking. Don't plan to drop it in the future either!

I'd heard good things about Otterbox but felt that they were too bulky; I'm not very accident prone and typically take decent care of my things. I finally picked up a phone and the search for a new case ended when I came across the symmetry series, which I had not heard of before, and I'm very happy with my purchase. It's slimmer and still provides adequate protection from the 'human factor' and I will likely be getting these from now on.

Bought this product for my daughter and it looks great, but after 14 days of use she dropped her phone from a sette on to a wooden floor and it resulted in a broken screen! Does not do the job. I have had a similar product from another company on my phone for 18 months and this has never happened despite numerous drops. Don't buy for protection. Very disappointed
Cons: Low quality, Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this case for my sons phone. He got a 5c pink at a bargain price but the color was to girlish for him. Solution, fit a lime green Symmetry case, bulletproof teenager protection saving dad a lot of money and giving the kids what they want.
