My Breville Infuser clean/decalcify light has never gone on during the six months that I’ve owned it. This was a huge motivator for me to purchase it, so I’m obviously unhappy with the overall machine. Unless I can figure out how to get this working, let me be clear that not only wouldn’t I recommend this product to a friend, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Not to mention that there is no grind or level of freshness that can be made with the single wall filter basket. For 10 years, all I used with my trusty Rancilio Silvia.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have not had it for a year and the primer pump has stopped working and the "descale" light constantly stays on.

Great machine!

While I may not be a pro, I make a latte every morning and have had a few machines before this. This machine can pull a good shot from any coffee, including those finicky light roasts! It is user friendly and nicely programmable, though I always do it manually. It's easy to clean and makes great coffee, and IMO the only downside is the steaming wand. It's a touch too weak to get good microfoam, but it works well enough. Overall, I love this machine, especially if you're like me and want a morning latte every day.
