The first one I received I could not change the temperature. The second one (the replacement) was returned as the pressure gauge did not work. Very disappointing as my last Breville espresso machine last 20+ years with no issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This Breville Infuser is owned by my Two Best Friends and they talked it up so much. I had to go with the same one, and I am not disappointed AT ALL!! It makes great Coffee, it froths the Milk just to the perfect whip! It is amazing and SO SIMPLE TO USE!!! That was a huge selling point for ME!! I have only been drinking Coffee for about 5-6 years and I am a 62 year old gentleman! And I wanted something that ANYONE could Master! I am not a master by any stretch of the imagination, but it makes Coffee Taste so DELICIOUS!!!

This is the 2nd time we have had our Infuser espresso machine overhauled by Breville. They make it so easy, quick and affordable. Going on 10 years now! Best coffee! It is so nice to get something repaired rather than just replace it. Well done as usual Breville!

As an espresso machine owner for over 40 years my Breville Infuser is my all time favorite espresso machine. I have owned Gaggia, Barista (Starbucks) and excellent Nuova Simonelli machines. I have always preferred to use separate grinders so the Infuser fits the bill perfectly for me. I get cup after cup of excellent espresso from the infuser. The controls are simple and the service from Breville is outstanding.

This is a step up from the machine I used to have. I like the pressure gauge to help refine my espresso grind and dosage. I also like the ease of filling the tank. The cleaning cycles are quicker than I would do , but probably for the best.
