I am on my 3rd or 4th infuser and have a couple of the lower models. They certainly do make a great shot of espresso. My issue is the machine quality. Over the last 7 or 8 years I have had 6 or 7 of these machines. For the cost of these machines I would expect them to last longer. Fortunately I have figured out to repair them myself but not everyone will be able to do that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great machine, works as advertised and makes great espresso. Slight complaint, I their water drainage might need a slight tweak post extraction. Water sometimes spills into the storage area from the waste reservoir. Other than that it is solid machine.

Breville makes the best appliances!! I have the Infuser espresso machine and after 7 years I sent it back to be repaired. As they weren't able to repair it, they sent a new machine! I'm impressed!! I also have their Smart Oven and their Smart Grinder Pro coffee grinder.
