Wonderful machine...but...

I bought this machine about a month ago and absolutely love it. I have fewer problems with this machine than ever I did with my old pressure cookers. It is bone-simple to program and I have no concerns about what pressure is being maintained. As far as retained smells are concerned the lid seal still smells of the tomato sauce that I made the first time that I used it but it has not affected the flavor of anything else I've cooked (and that includes a cake).
The only concern that I have with my new kitchen love is the lack of replacement inner pots. It would be really useful to have multiple pots to cook with but more worrying is that my other half has dented EVERY other pot in my kitchen. What is going to happen when the inevitable occurs?

The cooking results from the Breville Fast Slow Pro are excellent, but there are 2 issues I find troubling. 1. the seal on the the lid is quite ticklish. If you haven't got it just right, the cooker won't proceed to cooking after preheating; 2. you don't know until the end of a (lengthy) preheating phase that your lid isn't sealed. If one knew earlier on that the lid isn't sealed, one would waste less time.

Excellent at making risotto. I tried doing a natural release as opposed to the default, and it made the risotto pretty mushy. The time before when I had the default settings it turned out perfect. Pre programmed settings make it easy to look like a hero, but the customizability lets be creative as well.

The best and unique cooker in the market.

I bought it 4 years ago and has been using it at least twice a day, everyday. It is very sturdy, reliable, and like many other Breville products very intelligently made. I find it very reliable and easy to operate because it allows you to modify the temperature, the pressure, the timing and combine them in the best way for your own recipes.
