Wonderful machine...but...

I bought this machine about a month ago and absolutely love it. I have fewer problems with this machine than ever I did with my old pressure cookers. It is bone-simple to program and I have no concerns about what pressure is being maintained. As far as retained smells are concerned the lid seal still smells of the tomato sauce that I made the first time that I used it but it has not affected the flavor of anything else I've cooked (and that includes a cake).
The only concern that I have with my new kitchen love is the lack of replacement inner pots. It would be really useful to have multiple pots to cook with but more worrying is that my other half has dented EVERY other pot in my kitchen. What is going to happen when the inevitable occurs?

I received the Fast Slow Pro for Christmas and it is by far the best gift ever. I have used it almost every day. I have cooked rice, artichokes, chili, risotto, pulled pork BBQ and more. My family says it's the best rice I have ever made. It's so easy to use and I love how you can sauté directly in the bowl without using multiple dishes and pans. Cleanup is a breeze. We love everything that comes out of this amazing appliance!

Love this except for...

I had this for a few years and used it about 4-5 times a year. Last week, the temperature button got stuck at "Pressure Cook". Now I can't do anything else other than pressure cook. Just hope there is a fix to this.

I Also Pressure Steamed Spaghetti Squash.. Had To DobIt In Two Batches Because The Two Medium Size Squashes I Had Were Too Much To Fit.. No Worries Since It Only Takes The 1 Cup Water.. That Cooked Extremely Fast And Easy Too..
So.. After Those Two Uses Of This Amazing Appliance.. I Give It A Huge Thumbs Up..

OK cooker, but issue w the top lid sensor

This is OK cooker, BUT there is a comon issue with wiring at the top lid temp sensor, wire get cut, can be repaired if you know how, but... just bad design. Also, not sure why Breville do NOT have an option to purchase stailess steel pot as addition, instead what it comes with it originaly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lid never stays open to sauté or reduce now does not turn at all. Disappointed it’s now useless.

I love this appliance but have always had to prop open the lid against something because it would just turn causing an error and it shutting off whenever using the sauté,reduce or other modes that weren’t pressure or slow cooking. Now I cannot even get the lid to turn at all, I tried removing the lid as I do for cleaning but it will not turn one e installed and is now useless. The interior surface of the insert Could also be improved upon it wears super easily and is difficult to clean. For a high end pressure cooker I expected it to last !
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this cooker and it is actually the second one I have purchased. I use it weekly, mostly on the slow settings and love how it keeps meats moist and tasty, unlike a regular crock pot. I do wish it had a stainless steel liner. It seems the ceramic coating is coming off after being washed so many time.
