[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we recently put in hardwood floors. we also have a bulldog who sheds constantly! Each day I would come home and have to get out the vacuum and clean before I could even sit down because I could see her hair and anything else that was in the floor. Now that I have the Deebot I have it scheduled to come on at 4 pm everyday and when I get home my house is clean! Greatest thing I have bought in a long time! Has been doing this for months and never fails me!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this robot a while ago and it has always done its job so well... it's a bit loud and the battery dies within less than 2 hours of use, but it charges really fast. It's an amazing robot, it gives me a break when I want to rest :) Totally recommend anyone to buy it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 7-year-old Roomba 530 had finally died. In CR's review of the latest machines this was given a high rating due to its smaller height, better suction, and lower price than its iRobot competition. As I have a hardwood floor in my office and a loyal dog who likes lying on it, this sounded like a good choice.
The unit performs as advertised. It does a great job in my office, in our kitchen, dining room, and every other room. Regardless of whether it's Berber carpet or vinyl flooring, the 610 gets the dirt. It also does wet mopping with a snap-on attachment but here I would rate its ability as light-to-medium.
While it is smaller than my old Roomba it is not paper thin. It gets under things the Roomba couldn't, but the occasional bookcase still gives it a problem. It charges a lot faster and maintains a charge for longer than the Roomba. Plus, cleaning it is WAY easier than the iRobot product. The dust bin is a self-contained removable unit, not integrated into the body, so cleaning it in the sink is not a problem. The sweeping mechanism doesn't get hairs wound around its brushes that you end up having to cut loose with scissors. It is also quieter than the 530 - sometimes I cannot tell from the next room whether it is running.
It has a few idiosyncrasies. Oddly shaped rooms sometimes confuse it with respect to finding home base when done. The phone app seems to keep losing the unit. That is, it just seems to disappear from the list of connected machines. While irritating, these are minor and don't ultimately interfere with use, especially when the remote that came with the 610 can start it from a good distance.
If it can last more than three or four years then I'll not be returning to iRobot.
For cleaning it gets an A. But it drives in static patterns and I never know if my floors have all been cleaned. When it’s ready to dock, it can’t find the base and wanders for a long time, finally dying somewhere in my house. Sometimes when it does sick, it’s not on properly and doesn’t charge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know this is a older generation of the product but it works great. If they will add feature for it to identify dog feces and avoid it - it will be amazing! But overall great features. The moping feature can be improved but I am very happy. The hair count from our dogs went down to zero.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Won't clean just one area or room. I even put a huge ladder across a room to try to keep it in, and it just got stuck up against the ladder. Also gets stuck on the edge of the sunken living room step, on the base of the barstools, and on every floor mat (the rubbery kind that you'd think would be easy to mount or avoid). The mopping pad doesn't stay attached properly, and folds over as it travels. We only used it twice and decided it was more trouble than it was worth.
