LIke the double brushes - makes a big difference

I bought the Deebot and have been using it for about a month now. The system is great but I would suggest a couple of enhancements that will work great like having an indicator that lets you know that the trash container is full. I have also notice another issue with the Deebot h is that it gets lost and when it does get back to the base, i does not reseat itself

I was quite skeptical that this purchase would be worth it. I am glad we made the purchase. I am impressed with the mapping technology which ensures the entire area is vacuumed. The suction in the vacuum is impressive and effective at getting up the dog hair as well as daily dirt, Ext. I am happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend.

Bought it the same time as a Roomba iRobot 960 and both are very comparable in cleaning performance. The Deebot wins with the advanced mapping features for $200 less.
Once it finished mapping my 1700 sqft single story home - which took a while, first connection issues, then never finished, got stuck and ran out of battery, deleted map - I can now select individual rooms for it to go to and also digitally close off areas where it previously got stuck, e.g. under some furniture, managed to get under, but not out anymore ... overall very happy!
Hope they keep making the app and Debot better and more stable with future (firmware) updates.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DEEBOT 900's most alluring feature is its mapping ability. After an initial map is created, the DEEBOT 900 methodically cleans the house, moving from room to room. There is something satisfying about watching the vacuum move around the house logically (vs. robot vacuums that randomly bounce around). If there is a room or area that you do not want the vacuum to enter, you simply create a virtual boundary on the map - there is no need to set up a physical barrier or go around closing doors! Following a cleaning session, the DEEBOT 900 quickly and efficiently makes it way back to its charging base. The dustbin is generously-sized and easy to clean. It also seems to pick up more than a dust pan and brush or a dry sweeper pad. After several weeks of use, the DEEBOT 900 has become the go-to vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did quite a bit of research on what I could find on this floor robot, and others as well. The online reviews for this were consistantly positive, although this unit was a much better value than others with similar features. I also had family who had bought an Ecovacs Deebot and they really liked it. I went for more bells and whistles and got this one with mapping.
The mapping function this has provides a lot of advantages within the phone app, and works pretty well. I've only had this long enough to run it a time or two, and it has to make a map the first time that it runs. I do like now that the map is made how I can go back to add virtual barriers to the map, and I don't have to use physical barriers that have to be positioned on the floor while using.
This also allows me to select an area to clean (Just one part of the map) and clean that area by itself. You don't need a remote, just use the phone app.
I did read a lot in other reviews about having difficulty in getting this to use Wi-Fi since this just connects to 2.4G Wi-Fi. However, my iPhone connects to 5G Wi-Fi, and I had no issue getting this to work. (My router does both) The app communicates fine. It synced right up to Wi-Fi and overall the setup was a breeze.
I'm looking forward to being able to use this and letting it run while I sleep. We just got rid of most of our carpet and one of the things that we wanted to get was a robotic vacuum. I believe this model is a great value, and has a lot of features. I won't miss using the regular vacuum cleaner a bit!
