[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first robot vacuum, and I am satisfied with it. I had some initial problems in getting this set up, some of which were not completely unexpected. It really doesn't work well on Wi-Fi networks that use Smart Connect (adaptive 2.4 GHz/5 GHz). So after turning that off, it connected more reliably. It also has had a few mapping bugs, like one in which is just thought all environments were circular and it was always going straight. It's also a little annoying that the robot goes offline after a few days. I would like to be able to start a clean like once a week from my phone, but often I need to go press a button in order to get it going again. Apart from that, lately, it is working without issues. I love how I can see where it has gone and control it from anywhere.
The cleaning performance is pretty solid. It could be a little more powerful to suck up things on carpet (even on max), but on the whole it gets the job done, and it is fun to watch! My 3-year-old daughter named it Puddle and treats it like a part of the family.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had good success with this robotic vacuum for about a month, until we changed our internet provider and had to re-connect the vacuum to our new wifi. After doing so, we lost functionality on the app, and the vacuum seemed to take on a mind of its own. It would stop randomly in the middle of a clean (and not due to being stuck) and put itself to sleep instead of returning to the dock. The vacuum wouldn't successfully complete a map build after several attempts, and therefore we didn't have the functionality of selecting a custom cleaning zone, etc. Disappointed and ultimately returned it. Too bad as the vacuum itself seemed pretty good. After reading other reviews it's apparent that Ecovacs needs to better support their APP!!!!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a software engineer myself but this little machine took me a long time to understand many of its key features. Deebot relies too much on the app but unfortunately their app's interface is difficult to navigate and use. It requires patience and practice to get most out of the app and the machine. The bright side, compared to Roomba machines, mapping works better than physical barriers, the basket is easier to clean, and Deebot is a bit quieter than Roomba 900 series. Overall, Deebot is a more affordable solution than Roomba.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for about a month and for the most part it works great! I will say you have to be careful with certain higher rugs or chairs/stools that the bot can’t quite fit through. I’ve had issues where it gets stuck when not at home either between chair legs or on a rug. I’ve also had issues with the virtual boundary not working but all and all it’s a good purchase and nice to have vacuuming done while you’re not at home!

We used this lightly, maybe once per week. We cleaned it etc. At first it worked well, but now it just spins in circles and says “please help me out”. It isn’t stuck on anything it’s just spinning in circles. Also the app never worked for us despite many attempts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like it, but MAYBE a more expensive one is worth it because you'll be able to have more options when selecting scheduled cleanings. This had a very simple selection - this only allows for day selection for a whole house clean. I need certain areas cleaned more frequently than others. Also have had to remap several times in the two months I've had it. Bothersome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I am very surprised by the performance of this vacuum. I updated to the latest firmware and let it complete a full cleaning cycle and it works better than I expected. The app is easy to use and has great features like virtual boundaries to block out areas you want to avoid. I had the Deebot N79S and upgraded to this one and I am very glad I did. I will be getting a another one for my second floor and can highly recommend this vacuum to anyone.
This is a great robo vacuum but the lack of features in the app is what made me knock-off a star. Unlike its predecessor(s), the app for the 907 series doesn't let you navigate the robot to a specific area and spot clean. It didn't map my entire home (first floor) and that's why I would want the spot clean feature enabled.
