[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mapping is a must with these cleaning robots. Deebot does a create job of mapping the rooms and adapts to any changes. It's amazing on a daily basis what this vacuum can suck up! Only issue I have is with a rug that has black borders, the deebot thinks its an edge and won't clean it or if it goes on it, it can't get out because its thinks its falling off a ledge. Just have to use the mapping feature to "zone" that rug out of the floor cleaning area.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time after starting it, i had trouble getting connected with phone app and recognizing the wifi network. After few attempts and reconnecting the robot, it worked and first time the fully charged battery dies in about 60 minutes vs the claimed time. Also the tiny brush in the front is throwing away the small pieces of dirt instead of allowing robo to collect it e.g. if there are cereals on the floor and the deebot is approaching to that area, before it gets sucked by robo, the brush swipe them away in the cleaned area or other direction and it never gets taken from the floor. Floor mapping works fine and selected area cleaning is also fine. Only complaint is not able to pick everything from the floor due to front rotating brush.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago. I like the way it functions, but it goes offline often. Not sure why but you have to turn it off and on and hopes it goes back online. Once it does, there's a 50% chance that the map you worked so hard to create (adding boundaries) disappear. There is no good explanation for this on the instructions. Could be a better, more robust equipment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only thing I have to do is move the mat at the front door but it is a big rubber mat and it gets stuck there. I love this vac and will shop ecovac when I am ready for another.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this for a month now, it cleans well, maps my home perfectly and the feature I like the most is to be able to build virtual boundaries so that this bot doesn't enter a specific area in the home.
Only thing that I am not really happy about is the battery life. I have a 2800 sqft home and it takes 2 full charges to clean the whole home.

Supports only one map, if we select a specific area to be cleaned from the map robot starts cleaning and remove the whole map. ii. wish there were support for multiple map, so i could use it for multiple levels ( main and upper floor ) iii. Sound alerts are too low to even recognize iv. power of sucking is low v. Batter power does not last long.
Pros:- i. Could get into small areas. ii. Integrates easily with Alexa and give commands through Alexa. Scheduling jobs is also easy

We appreciate the feedback. While we do have models that support multiple maps, the DEEBOT 900 does not have this feature. For the suction trouble, try enabling the max mode in the app which increases the suction power of the robot by up to 2x.
