Saves hours of time a week which is worth far more than the cost of the vacuum. Very thorough in its cleaning.

My husband was a doubter, but now he is a believer and wishes we had bought one sooner. I have recommended it to others already. Worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So my wife and I no longer have to go around the house with little dustpans. We largely have hard flooring, and this little guy takes care of that like a pro. And if we vacuum once per week in the rooms that have carpet, this robot takes care of those rooms, too. I have found that the rolling brush winds up being overkill, given the limited waste capacity. You want it filled with dirt and dog hair, not carpet fluffies. The shocking thing is that the robot has no problems mapping out the house, and even more shocking is that if it runs into a barrier or gets stuck, it doesn't just try the same thing over and over, it gets creative. The effective mapping combined with the AI means that the robot is no-maintenance, just tap the app and forget it, it gets it done. The mapping, amazingly, identifies rooms, and you can select only certain rooms for cleaning--that's what I mostly use. Areas too small for the robot can be blocked off on the app, on the map the robot creates of your house, so no worries there. You can clean a custom area, too. I thought the robot would need pretty regular help, getting stuck or missing areas, etc. But after a week it knew our house, and now it's just a part of my life getting light vacuuming done from my office on the app.

Great Ecovac and did what is supposed to do.

First I was hesitaged to purchase so I do a little research and see/watch quite a few reviews, ofcourse no company is perfect! I took a chance to purchase this since it lower in price compared to others! and the spec's vacuum suction power seem more than others battery running time is a little less like 10-15 min. which is a bout 2hr run time. My upstair only 1600sf and took it 30-38 min. to completed therefor 2h run time is plenty to run sweep 3000sf floor. I have it only a month so far it did pretty darn good, i'm happy with it and would get one more for my downstair.

Map building to almost no effort in managing device is very helpful. I am able to work while it cleans whole house. Only thing is its inability to clean few rug types( i have 2 and 1 of them it ignores ) rest all I am satisfied

Good value for the price but room for improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had our robot for a month. It’s our first Ecovacs but second vacuum robot. We use it as a mid week clean up between regular cleanings.
Pros:
- ‘radar’ mapping system is surprisingly accurate
- virtual boundaries work well.
- responsive support team
- once setup it’s been running well. It completes our 2700sf home in 2 runs.

- no user manual. Every issue requires contacting support
- setup was a pain particularly connecting to home WiFi. We have an Orbi mesh network (2.4 and 5Ghz network with same SSID). Ecovacs expects 2.4Ghz only. New mesh network systems don’t necessarily allow you to disable the 5Ghz network)
- doesn’t handle patterned carpets very well. Seems to interpret the change in patterns as a possible ledge (see video).
- it took us almost 2 weeks for us to get a complete map of our house... every time it encountered a problem the in-process map was lost UNLESS it made it back to the dock. This included losing any virtual boundaries we set up.
