[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The app works well and the vacuum maps my house very well. Once mapped it does a pretty systematic cleaning. It would be nice if you could free-draw the exclusion zones or at least be able to rotate the box. The exclusion zones seem to work well though. The laser guided straight lines is way better then the random pinball pattern that of my last vacuum. The dust bin is a bit smaller that my last one and the ‘chute’ and opening to the dust bin could be larger. If you have a pet with longer hair the opening can sometimes get clogged up. It has only ended up stuck a couple of times but I just added a no go zone to the map and problem solved. It hasn’t gotten stuck since. It did not like the cushioned (thicker) mat on the floor by my kitchen sink for some reason. It is relatively quiet on standard setting. All in all, if the dust bin was redesigned I’d probably give it 5 stars.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Deebot. First one was an early base model and lasted exactly one year. Replaced it with a navigation Roomba, which I promptly returned after seeing how poorly it picked up. This last model of Deebot picks up as well as the first Deebot, but has the advantage of Navigation. This allows for much more efficient cleaning patterns (better battery usage), target cleaning areas, and avoiding trouble areas. IMHO, Navigation is worth the extra money. The better cleaning can be attributed to the extra side brush and the bristle brush main brush. I could see how the bristle brush would get clogged up easily with pet hair, but we have a poodle and don't have this issue. The Roomba's silicone brush would probably handle shedding dog hair better, but does not clean deep and in between the tiles.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this with great hopes for a robot vacuum. After getting it setup, we were able to have it fully map our house on the 1st cycle. I like how it maps the house and cleans an area and does not zig and zag like our previous model. The problem with this and the reason it is going back as we could no get through a full cycle without it’s sensors or brushes needed to be cleaned. It is for that reason this is sitting in a box waiting to go back to Costco.

Hello,
Thank you for your review. If the main brush is getting tangled during the cycle, we would recommend using the direct suction plate instead of the main brush option. This way, the brush getting tangled is taken completely out of the equation. Should you need any assistance with attaching this, or if there's any other way we can assist with the robot, please reach out to us at customerservice@ecovacs.com attention Steve where we're happy to assist.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought my first Cleaning Bot; spent hours trying to get it to pair with my phone. I fianally called Ecovacs tech support and was told I obviously had a defective unit. Guess I will wait awhile before another purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Deebot two months ago and my life has become so much easier. I can schedule the cleanings by area and I can create a specific area when I leave to walk my dog or at night when we go to bed. I no longer have to use the regular vaccuumm.
