[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good: My labrador sheds a good amount: Instead of vacuuming every day - this robot does it for me It gets back to the charging stand 95% of the time It navigates successfully around new obstacles like shoes or a box on the floor Basically no hairs remain on the kitchen tile, hardwood floor, or area rugs
Bad: Sometimes gets caught on cords (which is to be expected) If it runs into an issue (full bin or stuck on a cord) - it'll reset the floor plan map which isn't a big deal except that deletes any area you designate for it not to clean (near the dog bed where my dog seeks safety from robotic vacuums for instance)
Overall I wasn't sure what to expect, but I've been very pleased with the purchase!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this vacuum for about 2 months. I named her Ellie, and I love her. I love that she has a memory of our entire ranch house, so I can send her where I want her. I know some rooms need it more often. Love that she cleans up under the beds. She is quiet, so my cats watch her but don't run and hide. For the price point, I am very happy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago as my first robovac and I am very happy with it. I have three cats and the amount of unseen fur that this thing picks up is really surprising, that and it helps a ton with cat litter, but it does toss it around sometimes. Still better than having to do it manually all the time.
PROS > It does: - A great job at saving me at least 45 minutes per day while I tend to other housekeeping tasks. - A surprisingly good job of vacuuming. I have about 1000sq/ft and it can clean the entire apartment on max suction without dying. - Have decent software, allowing you to customize virtual boundaries, and clean specific areas. You cannot manually assign rooms though, but it does a decent job of doing it automatically. - Make maintaining the bot simple. - Notifying me of errors that result in it stopping a clean cycle.
CONS > It does: - Eat cords, but they remain intact, and once removed from the bot, it will resume cleaning on the spot. - Get stuck on edges/corners of rugs. It wouldn't even clean part of my rug if it did manage to get on it for some reason. I ended up removing the rug for the sake of having the area cleaned frequently. - Get stuck under my refrigerator door and recliner. These things are the perfect height for the sensor to not be able to see, but think it can still fit under, then it turns and wedges itself in there.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for our home while we were expecting our 2nd child knowing that vacuuming would need to get done but not trying to juggle it along with taking care of a newborn. We set the vacuum on a schedule and it does a great job of keeping the carpet clean. This particular vacuum has a laser on it that helps it map the room and determine if an obstacle is close by. Unfortunately the laser is mounted on the top which causes 2 issues: 1 - If an obstacle is below the lasers field of sight, the vacuum will go full charge into the obstacle, 2 - The vacuum often gets stuck under furniture because the laser prevents it from escaping. Aside from the daily usage, initial setup was very frustrating. The vacuum does not appear in the app immediately and I found myself playing with the WiFi router, reinstalling the app multiple time, and then finally just giving up and waiting for it to appear. After 20 minutes it was there, I'm still confused about it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using the vacuum for about 3 months and I does a great job. The only thing that needs work is it does not like light weight rugs and sometimes when it gets stuck it recreates a copy of the map and attaches it to the existing map. This requires me to delete the map and start over.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just got our Deebot 900 a few weeks ago. Word of advice: commit to that first complete mapping. We were about to throw in the towel because it seemed it was never going to happen: obstacles got in the way, pets got in the way, it keep repeating rooms we didn’t care about, etc. When we finally cleared the floor of potential pitfalls and got out of the way, we had a complete map (it may take a recharge...make sure you have continuous cleaning enabled). Now we can take advantage of all the functionality this device has to offer like custom and scheduled cleanings. We had a Roomba and it stank. The 900 not only has tremendous suction, but it is beyond thorough as you’ll see from the cleaning path on the map. I don’t know that we’ll ever have to vacuum again; it’s that good!!!

I have been using Alfred (Deebot 900) for a little over a month now and I have to say I am significantly more impressed than I thought I would be. He is smart, efficient and so easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased the Deebot 900, set it up and got it running. This little thing is amazing! The map it builds of the space it's cleaning is spot on! Then watching it go do its thing -- it's almost like there is a little guy in there driving it around. It is very methodical in how is cleans the space it is in. The only real ding is, I feel that the instructions on getting it connected to your home wifi could be a little better. I am a pretty tech savvy guy, so I was able to understand what was happening after a couple tries and got it working. But I could see how it may be a little frustrating to some. All in all, I think this is going to make a big difference around the house! Great product!
