[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Deebot after owning my N79 which I liked but was basic in terms of no mapping or boundaries.
My appeal to this product was the mapping, ability to set boundaries, and alexa connectivities. The mapping process and setting virtual boundaries was very straight forward. Setting it up yo work with alexa worked flawlessly.
I quickly learned that the mapping features were lacking and rendered the product unusable as the maps kept getting skewed when the vacuum would get hung up or caught on things. This would cause the map and virtual boundaries to shift over enough that the vacuum would no longer be able to finish up and find the charging base.
I ended up returning it and will wait for a better vacuum to come around.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Deebot 901 seems to do a pretty decent job vacuuming and after the initial making of the map and adding no go zones, rarely gets stuck or lost. The app works reliably however it was advertised as being able to schedule specific areas to be cleaned and this is not an option in the app. I can only schedule the whole house to be cleaned.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Runs well, cleans well. Sound is ok and the vac picks up hair well. Make sure to clean the bin often. Did have to return the original purchase but replacement was hassle free.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in Sept 2019 and out of the box had several issues doing the initial setup, but after about an hour everything linked up. The machine cleaned great for about a month, then it kept getting stuck in places and then it would just stop in the middle of the floor saying it was stuck? It still runs every day, but some days it cleans the whole house and other days your lucky it it cleans 1 room. It’s set to run while we are at work, so you can’t even start it up again when we get home as the battery is usually dead or almost dead from just setting there all day off he charger.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our Deebot Ecovac 900. We have hardwood floors, 2 cats, and 1 dog. The vacuum makes it look like we don't have any! Getting it setup let's you watch it's progress, map your house, prevent it from going to certain areas, or even spot clean. The only downside is that it has a hard time going over the slight bump from our dining room to the kitchen and will get stuck and eventually shut down which can be very irritating to come home to.
