[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I originally had a Roomba. Long story short, it got ruined from and stop working. We decided to upgrade to the Deebot 900 and we absolutely love it. The Deebot 900 is much more quiet than our previous roomba and it cleans better. I added a picture to show how much dog hair it picks up in just an hour of cleaning. It's also low enough that it fits under our coffee and side tables. I highly recommend purchasing the Deebot 900. App is user friendly too :)
The vacuum on the 900 is great. I always wonder where the dirt is coming from that I find in the dust compartment. As with the other Ecovac devices I’ve owned, I’m confused at the algorithm it uses when it comes across certain scenarios. I wish I could be a consultant for their engineering department and help them learn what really happens that I truly believe could be solved. Anyway, the BEST feature that has helped me with its few downfalls is the barrier feature that can be done while it’s in a current cleaning cycle. Previous machines made you wait until after the current cycle was completed. This is by far Ecovacs best unit yet and I’m glad they worked with me until the machine that fit my needs was made available.
I had purchased two of these. Returned both for the same following reason.
When the vacuum gets “stuck” for whatever reason, the battery will eventually become fully discharged. The vacuum will not have enough power to even get itself back to the charging dock.
After reading the instructions and talking with customer support on how to get the vacuum charged again, all attempts failed. Putting the vacuum on and off the charger three time themes on the fourth time let charge never worked for me. These are expensive vacuums that should have a much better solution.
I spent a little more money on a roborock vacuum. Works much better. When the vacuum get stuck or blocked behind a door the vacuum goes to sleep and will resume when the issue is corrected. And if I put it on the charger on my own, it charges without a hickup.
To make Deebot better. Fix the charging issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought over a month ago and use it everyday. I haven't pulled out my vaccum since! Only reason I give it a 4 is I have to clean off the brushes pretty often because my hair gets twisted up and cloggs the brush.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this vacuum for about a month now and it does an excellent job. The mapping of the floor plan of the house is amazing. I can setup a virtual fence to keep in from going in areas such as my daughters room. I can also use the app to send it to clear a specific area. Plus it gives me updates on the cleaning status of scheduled runs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this vacuum for about two months and so far it has worked wonderfully. The app syncs up with Alexa and I can pause or start it without getting my phone out of my pocket or getting up off the couch. The scheduling and mapping are a breeze to use as well. One thing that I at first did not get on board with was the size of the dust bin, but I realize that if it is emptied once a day then it never gets too full (and that's running it three times a day!).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, in all fairness I have not used one by another manufacturer with app. Roomba we tried didn’t map on an app. I love the app. You can start it from anywhere, follow progress, and even do select areas or block areas by adding virtual wall on app. It’s been great for our pet hair on hardwood, can’t comment to other surfaces. For the features this one is far cheaper than competition. No regrets.
