I’m a prior Roomba owner and didn’t like that I could program it to auto clean. The deebot has so many more features for half of the price. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the bin where debris goes doesn’t seem to work to its full potential. Once it reaches a certain fill point, it spits everything back out. If it’s running when I’m not home and I don’t catch it to empty, it doesn’t clean as well. I do love how quiet it is though!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a shark and a dyson. I thought I wouldn’t need another one for cleaning, and I doubt its cleaning power. But since we got DEEBOT, I’ve been using it every other day. I can say it’s a whole different level. Its convenience and practicality totally upgraded our life quality. Especially, DEEBOT’s various functions like mapping, setting the area, custom etc get me a pleasure to use this robot. I’m totally enjoying it. Thank you DEEBOT for keeping our house clean!

Love it- except it doesn’t always charge correctly

There was a place that Deebot consistently got stuck and so I blocked it off and now I don’t have any trouble. However when it returns to dock and charge for some reason it must not get on the charger correctly and then when you go to use it again it is completely dead.

My DEEBOT 900 is an excellent product!

We purchased a couple months ago and our DEEBOT 900 continues to perform highly. We have it running twice a week on hard wood and tile floors with a couple area rugs. We also have a medium sized dog that sheds. We live at the beach and it picks up sand, dog fur, everything! The area is about 80 square meters and it runs about 75-80 minutes, finding its way back to the charging base nearly every time. It’s been stuck a couple times (under a uniquely cut piece of furniture), but very rarely. One of the area rugs is relatively new and the bin fills up on the fibers from the rug, so I set that as an area to avoid and just run our Dyson in that spot. The technology is very cool and I like having the WiFi option to see the clean area on the map, cleaning in progress and having the ability to control cleaning zones. It has run out of juice a couple times, but overall a hard worker. I’m going to get one for our upstairs, because if I bring it upstairs to scan the area and clean, it seems to be confused from the previous downstairs map. Overall, I love the DEEBOT 900 and highly recommend.

Perfect in theory

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vaccuum does a great job cleaning the floors. If gets over the thesholds easily, picks up even dog food, great around corners, doesn’t bump into things. I have a deeper set grout and stone tiles, so I was kind of nervous about it’s suction ability, but it is amazing!
However, The WiFi is spotty and sometimes doesn’t work. It’s not a problem with my router, we had someone come out and check. I even have extenders in the house to reach the back rooms. The vaccuum at most only ever has one bar of signal strength. About once a week it would stop working because it couldn’t connect. In the end I just ended up using it like a normal robot vaccuum. I don’t connect it to my phone and use it remotely anymore, which is one of the reasons I was so excited about this. It seems perfect in theory, but I think the company needs to figure out a few things with the WiFi for it to truly be amazing.
Good thing is that I got it for the same price as the regular deebots, so I’m not too upset about the extra features being buggy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the Deebot about 2 months ago. Performance has been ok so far. It lost its mapping once but auto recovered after I put it back on the charger. It's great on dog hair...the reason for the purchase.

Unreliable!

We set up the schedule for the Deebot to vacuum our downstairs. It did it the first time, then it stopped. We rescheduled it, and the same thing happened. When we'd try to see what was going on, it was always "offline," and we couldn't do anything.
For the one time it worked, it did a good job, though it took a long time. We are returning it to the store. Too bad, we were looking forward to using it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
