[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I bought Debbie about 2 months ago. We have a 90 lb White German Shepherd that loves to leave hair all over our hardwood floors. We got tired of vacuuming the hardwood floors everyday so we decided to give a robot vacuum a try. After reading many reviews we settle on the Deebot 901 aka Debbie. She is amazing. We mainly use her to clean the hardwoods which is 80% of the floors downstairs but we do occasionally leave our bedroom door and our 2 year old son's bedroom door open to have her clean those as well. We use the suction attachment that works really well for dog hair. The brush attachment gets clogged up with dog hair too easily. We are very pleased with Debbie's performance really like how she goes back home and changes when her batteries run low, but then "resume's the clean" again. I really wish you could change the voices as having Samuel L Jackson cleaning my house would be amazing. My only gripe is the dust bin is rather small and has to be emptied after each run, but that's easy enough to do. I would give Debbie 5 out of 5 stars.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this to replace a Hoover800. The amount that this vacuum picks up compared to our previous bot is incredible! I did end up setting up virtual barriers in some tight corners with furniture as the vacuum seemed to take up a lot of time and battery power to clean these small spots.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really wanted to like this vacuum and at first we did. The way it navigated around obstacles and mapped each room was impressive. The virtual boundaries were easy to use and worked well. It picked up an amazing amount of debris BUT- It sometimes got confused and couldn't find it's way back home. We decided to relocate the docking station for a better line of sight and reconfigure the mapping. Once we did that the app was no longer able to load. We tried repeatedly and worked with customer service but no luck. This is the same problem numerous other reviewers have had. The robot's great, the app has too many bugs. Without the app, this robot would not work for us. We sent it back the second week. .

It has yet to vacuum the entire house in one complete session, which has made it impossible to save the map of the house and utilize the virtual boundaries. The storage cup for the vacuum is too small.

To help the robot with its initial mapping process, please try enabling the continuous clean mode in the app. This way, if the robot does not finish the map during its first cycle, it will return to the docking station to charge up, and will then go back out to finish the mapping process. If the trouble continues, please reach out to us at customerservice@ecovacs.com attention Steve and we'll be happy to assist you further.
The logic of setting up first mapping is way off. If your first pass was to detect the surroundings and store the map, then don’t bother to do the cleaning as well. The software part still needs a lot of improvement for the whole package to shine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our Roomba with this unit and it works so much better. I love the mapping option. Only complaint is that the dust bin is a bit small, so you need to empty more often.

I have had the unit for about a month now and overall like the additional features this unit has. The only complaint with the unit I have is, when emptying the trash bin, the DEEBOT complains about me moving the unit. I wish it had a empty the trash bin mode.
