[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We choose this robot over the Roomba. We were lucky enough to have friends that had this Deebot and the Roomba that would be somewhat equal to this Deebot and the Deebot won every single time. We really love this vacuum it has changed out lives and it never in the way. The only thing I would like changed is I would like to be able to pick it up and put it on a different level of my home and have it clean there. We have dogs and had a hair problem with them. no matter how much sweeping we did there was always hair on the floor. as soon as we got our vacuum after maybe 2 days we have no visible hair on the floors no more yucky feeling under our feet or kids with dirty feet/socks. Even as clean as out floors are now Deebot still finds away to almost fill the dust bin daily. I have the vacuum set automatically so everyday at the same time it cleans as soon as we leave the house.

I love that I do not have furry dog hair balls floating around or the remnants from my husband cooking. I will say there are still times that the robot gets stuck in an area that it really shouldn't get stuck and that it gets confused occasionally and will complete the clean and stop where it is because it doesn't know how to get back to the base. The area I have it in meets the requirements. Overall, I am happy! I don't have to sweep everyday now. If you are a pet owner looking to purchase, just make sure you empty the vacuum daily!
My other half was interested in trying a more recent auto floor sweeping device. We had one 20 years ago which was not all that good. Deebot works about as well as expected. Now days Li-ion batteries makes a big difference in use and service life. It seems to have a few issues that we must keep in mind when operating unattended however. I had to fence several areas to help it avoid getting stuck. BTW - I really like the virtual fence compared to the battery operated electronic fences of competitors. Some problems include floor HVAC registers, sloping chair-stool bases and dog toys. The first two must be handled with fencing. The latter requires housekeeping if a unattended schedule is set. We have a Yorkie and Deebot seems to collect a great deal of her hair. Deebot mapping app could use improvement but delivers on its tasks. I'd really like to see the ability to save multiple maps recalled on schedule. This would give us the ability to schedule different rooms on different days. These devices are getting better but still expensive overall and still have a lot of room for improvement.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Deebot 901 about a month ago and I am exceptionally pleased with it. I have it scheduled to vacuum my basement level once a week. It has been reliable and very thorough. It really is very smart about navigating. It is easy to maintain by brushing off it's brushes and simply emptying the bin and dusting the filter after every cleaning session. I am very happy to have it share my chores.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DEEBOT 900 did exactly was it was supposed to do, clean the floor. Not only did it correctly map the floor plan with furniture but the virtual barriers keep it from going into the wrong places. It even got into more places than expected (under floor cabinets and between chair legs.) The app was intuitive and easy to use though it was a little challenging to connect the robot initially. (Airplane mode with WiFi turned on ftw!) Besides that, we liked it so much we bought a second one.
Recently, I have purchased the Deebot and two competitors robotic vacuums. Hands down, the Deebot is my favorite at this point. I like the features on the machine and the app simply smokes the others' apps.
