[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought two of these 1 last month and 1 3 months ago. We liked the first one so much we had to have one for the 2nd floor as well. It does an excellent job in cleaning, to the point that you get too lazy to actually run a regular vacuum. The pros: Very easy to set up with the app, easy to tell it areas where it should not go, detects stairs and avoids getting too close. Fun to watch it run around trying to get every last bit of dirt. Returns to the charging station if it gets needs charging or finishes. Sends alerts to the app. Cons: Wish it had a pc interface as well as the app. It really needs a clutter free area, no power cords, it can find them even when you have forgotten where they are. Fencing off areas takes a little getting used to with the app, just enlarge the map and its a lot easier.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got Deebo 900 a month ago. So far functions very efficient and cleans even leveled hard floors very good. I sweep the corners and the stairs manually. The rest of it, Deebo 900 takes care of it. I move shoes, chairs, loose wires off the floor, so the EcoVac can do its job. After each use (2x week), I clean the EcoVac as instructed. One adjustment that I made, it's to protect the top of the Deebo. I taped the rubber band around the "head". I found that after the EcoVac goes under the sofas/couches, it bumps into lower parts, and it semi-cracks the head (see attached photos).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The main problem I found is that is not easy to function. I have had to use it as best as can be used given the difficulty following the instructions for mapping. Haven’t been able to figure out the way to do it, even after contacting their help desk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,
Thank you for your review. We'll be happy to help get the map generated on the ECOVACS Home app. Please reach out to us at customerservice@ecovacs.com attention Steve and we'll get the robot up and working with its advanced features right away.
“Alice” D’Bot’s relentless need to get under beds and in and around furniture has influenced us to declutter our house and manage our electric cords. After the initial challenge of mapping the whole house (HINT: set to ‘Continuous Cleaning’), setting virtual boundaries where she gets hung up, and learning her DEEBOT ways, she automatically vacuums the house twice a week.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this a month ago, after purchasing the DEEBOT N79W and wanting a vacuum with navigation on it. I will say what I like and dislike from both for referance. Likes: DEEBOT N79W- Huge trash compartment, remote, smaller robot, can be moved where you want with remote or app in case it missed a spot. DEEBOT 900- Navigation, quieter, came extras: brush and floor attachment (like a squeegee, recommended for pets with lots of hair to prevent from getting tangled on brush), another set of side brushes, filter, extra door for filter. Dislikes: DEEBOT N79W- No navigation so it goes all over the place while cleaning, every time an obstacle is in it's way it goes in a different direction taking a while to clean one each room. DEEBOT 900- Small trash compartment, bigger robot, navigation disk above robot causes it to get stuck in some areas where the N79W didnt have any trouble cleaning.
Overall I do like the DEEBOT 900 better but i with the trash compartment was as big as the N79W
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a very old 560 Roomba, which I grew tired of watching bump into everything. The DeeBot works in such a superior fashion. The suction, noise and mapping are so far ahead of my old bot its fantastic. A clean that would fully drain the old Roomba dead only takes the Deebot 900 32 mins and it could do it again, and that's on max suction.
I have read some critism of the app, but I have had no issues whatsover with it. (I'm in IOS). Boots up fine, clear and easy to follow. I like it.
Really the only downside I have run into is parts. Unlike Roomba its nearly impossible to get parts for this thing. I actually own 3 900 series Robots at this point, but only 2 are functional. I had to buy a third that was "for parts" on Ebay just to get the Roller cover door for my second unit as Ecovacs doesn't sell the part? Its literally a part intended to removal again and again so I was very suprised to hear they had no stock of it. If you could by PCB's I'm sure the 3rd would work again as well, but is relegated for parts now. Please bring us parts!
