[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product on Amazon Prime Day. At first I was skeptical about it, but it works beatifully. Maping works very well. Sometimes it gets entangled with cables or wires, but once I cleared them, it works flawlessly, both in hard floors and carpet.

After doing research and evaluating the competition, Ecovacs Deebot 901 offered the best features (battery life, laser mapping, etc...) for its price. My wife loved it so much that we are planning to buy 2 more this coming Xmas for our Mom's.

On the downside, the app is very glitchy, my Deebot gets hung-up A LOT, and it seems like I'm always having to either re-map, or make adjustments to my boundaries. On the upside, I have a dog and a cat and the amount of pet hair in my house has been dramatically reduced! So, my Deebot irks me quite often, but the end results are pretty much what I was hoping to be. I have no experience with other robot vacuums, so can't say if it works better or worse than other brands.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can see on map where robot cleaned my apartment and if not then address the issue. Also I can clean kitchen mess from the right sport on the floor with handy App's user interface. Robot makes strait movements and does not fool around the area.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are really happy with this product -- when it runs. It cleans really well and makes its own map. However, if it gets hung up anywhere (or lost, which happens occasionally) and the battery runs out, it's very difficult to get it to recharge and work again; there is a totally non-intuitive process of putting it on its charger then removing it three times to get it to charge -- and that does not always work. I wish Ecovacs would update the software or something to solve this issue, as its a real problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about 6months ago. It is not perfect but it is great and would not ever want to be without it! The scheduling and continuous cleaning option are awesome and once you figure out the places it can get stuck and block those off you end up with a clean house each time! The container that holds the debris could be a little better also, it picks up a lot, but does not use the whole container as the debris gets stuck in the middle.
Overall I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a robot vacuum!
