[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been pretty impressed with the Deebot 907 I bought to replace a cheaper, dumber model. It does a good job of navigating the house, cleaning in a back and forth that is very thorough. And when it runs low on battery during the cleaning, it returns to the base to recharge and then picks back up.
Criticisms include:
1. My home has presented it a few challenges, and I have been surprised by some of them; there are several places where it has gotten itself trapped and "called for help".
2. It has significant issues with small floor rugs, like in the bathrooms.
3. I had to tape the charging station down, or the unit would not dock with it (but would push it).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned the Deebot 900 for 5 weeks and it does a good job if I do my part, picking items up that it will get tangled with. Amazes me how much material it picks up each time on a daily basis. It did lose a sense of itself when it got stuck and ended lifting itself off the floor. That messed the map up and I had to delete the program and reinitialize the unit and it's back to perfect. It's a great supplement to regular vacuuming of which is now done half the frequency as before. I love this unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this from watching a youtube video about robotic vacuums. I was very surprised at the low price for a vacuum with LIDAR mapping. I also have a Roomba but never really liked the way it banged into everything and random cleaning pattern. Often it would miss spots. Also like the dual brushes on the Deebot. Really seems to help with edge cleaning.
Wish the rotating brush had a beater bar in it, but I understand that this is patented by Roomba. The Deebot still does a VERY good job of cleaning. I tested it by running my Roomba in the kitchen on the carpet for a full clean cycle, then ran the Deebot and saw how much additional dust and dirt it picked up! I was impressed!
The android app is a little slow and laggy, and stops updating sometimes, I have to reload the map an it picks up. I wish there was an option to "lock" the map and NOT have the vacuum add to the existing map. I understand that keep out areas can be drawn, but the resolution is low and drawing an area is a little tricky, but at least it can be done!
Overall, for the price this vacuum is great! Also ALOT quieter than my Roomba!

Great features, cleaning and mapping abilities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two DEEBOT 900 series Floor Cleaning Robots because of the size of our home and different cleaning times needed. I setup the first cleaning robot to see if it met our needs cleaning before I opened the second. Even thought I thought our floors were clean, I vacuumed and washed our tile floors prior to setting up our cleaning robot the first time, I was appalled by the amount of dirt and debris that the cleaner picked up. I immediately setup our second Floor Cleaning Robot and once again surprised by the dirt it collected. We run our Robots three times a week and will continue this regiment because of all the dirt they continue to collect. The WiFi capabilities allows me to see when they are running and if they returned to their recharging center. We can feel the difference while walking barefoot or in stocking feet throughout the house. Can’t imagine not having them now they are set up.
