Just bought my first Epson 5100 printer today and so happy that installing it went so easy, very user friendly and believe me I am not a techie so I was concerned about installing it. I haven't used it yet for printing but if it goes anything like the installation it should go well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had it exactly 1 year and it broke down. Lost the Wi-Fi ability inside the printer. "Printer not found on network". I just added to the pile of other printers.
Also, I did see that this sucks up the ink quicker than others I used.

The first thing that stands out when you set this printer up, is the sleek & shiny design. It is small and compact so it works well in tight spaces. From first appearance, you wouldn't assume that it has more than standard print capabilities. This small printer can do a lot. I would definitely recommend it for a student or someone with a small office. Setup is very easy. It's basically 3 steps and then your done. I personally like the print from feature that Epson has equipped all their printers with now. The only flaw I found was the vibrancy in print color. The Red's and Blue's are not True Prints. They always seem to be darker than the color appears on screen. When printing photo's this is slightly problematic. All in all, this is a great printer and definitely worth purchasing. This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-5100 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review

Easy to install and use

All the features I need. Easier than expected wireless setup. Decent sized paper tray. No jams in regular use with different kinds of paper in 6 months. Easy maintenance and ink changing. Seems solid and reliable.

I needed a WiFi connected printer and remembered Epson form years back when it was the gold standard for dot matrix printers. Any questions about quality and reliability I had with this printer vanished when I remembered my saisfaction with those early PC printers. So I bought one .And I was rewarded with a top quality printer that does everything I want at a ubelievable low prince. Unlike many printers today, this printer sets up easily and with little need for intervention. So if you want bang for the buck with great features and quality printing this is the one to get.
