The backing started peeling off almost immediately

I have had this for about 2 months and the backing is nearly totally peeled away from the case. I was really excited to receive it but really bummed out now that it looks like junk. However it functions well. The issue is only cosmetic, however the backing does get snagged on things and cause me to have to catch my phone from falling.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
