I ordered the crystal clear symmetry cover for my iPhone 7 Plus because I had previously had the black crystal cover for my iPhone 6s Plus and was pleased with the clarity of it. The new case is not clear as you can see from the photos. It's not as evident in the photos but it's the difference between clear and frosted on my phone. They are two different color options for the edge of the same case style and should either both be clear or specified otherwise. Had the description of the case been accurate I would have ordered the black crystal option.

Very Disappointed!

I ordered the Symmetry Series Clear Case for iPhone 7 Plus, expecting the case to be "Crystal Clear." like most of the earlier reviews, my case was cloudy. I have had five Otter box cases throughout the years and I am always pleased with the product I receive. This case will be returned. I see another review stating that the clear case with the black trim is "Crystal Clear" in the 6S Plus version. Is this the case in the 7 Plus? If so I will order this case and see if it is more of what I was expecting.

Nice case but not crystal clear

I put this case on my brand new jet black iPhone 7+ the minute I took the phone out of the box. The phone fits great and feels protected. I'm disappointed that the case is not crystal clear to show off the beautiful finish on the phone. The phone looks like its matte black when in the case. I ordered the other Symmetry that has the black around the edges and clear back. My son has this case on his phone and the back is crystal clear. Hoping that case is like his. It will show off the phone.
The phone slides in and out of my pocket easily and feels very nice in my hands. I'm not worried about any scratches. The on/off button is a bit hard to push but either I am getting used to it or it's getting easier to push. Nice protection for my phone.

Bought this for my daughters iphone 7+ and she’s extremely happy with it.
She loves the glitter effect!
The only thing that is a negative is the buttons are very hard to press. She’s 11 years old and finds turning the volume up/down or locking the phone incredibly difficult. But hopefully after time they will become easier to press.

This case is the sleekest, most natural, symmetrical, form fitting Otterbox case to date. It looks so natural on the phone that it almost appears to be the phone's actual "case free" design. The hard plastic appears to be very durable. In my opinion, the only slight negative is the hard rubber edging because it lacks a completely slip-free tighter grip like softer rubber does. However, with that said, I've never dropped the phone due to losing a good grip on it. This will easily be my case of choice for the lifetime of my iPhone 7 Plus, as well my first choice for future iPhone models.

Great case (Stardust)

I am a huge fan of Otterbox. I've been using their cases exclusively for 7 years and any time I get a new phone, I go ahead and order the case first, before I even get a phone, so I can go ahead and have the case. I was pleasantly surprised to see the clear options for the Symmetry line. I ordered the stardust one because I wanted to show off my rose gold phone but still have the protection.
The case is really nice. It's thin, but offers the same protection you can expect from Otterbox. I love the stardust design because it adds a little something extra. I haven't experienced the issues other reviewers have about it being difficult to use the power button with the case.
The only complaints I have: I am not a huge fan of how slick the case is. I wish it was more rubberized or had a better grip (like the defender and commuter cases). I just like the feeling of having a really good grip on my phone and don't get that with symmetry. I know I can order a different case, and I know my phone is still protected, but it's something I would like to have on future casss. The other complaint is the color options that are available. I wish that some older designs and colors would cross over into newer releases. Newer designs seem to be really limited in the color schemes and I've really liked some casss only to find that they weren't available for my phone.
So, overall, the complaints I have aren't serious and the case is really good. Otterbox still has a very satisfied customer.

When I got this in the mail, I was so excited to see that sparkles and it did not disappoint. it shimmers with every movement and makes my phone very secure.. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE is that it scratches very easily. I've only had mine for a week now and it already has about 30 scratches that wont rub out.
