This is so convenient. Having one oven that does it all, bakes/convection bakes/speed cooks/broils/microwave. Don't have to use my larger oven much. Only for big items(roasting pans and turkey.

Proofing function not useful

While the speed cook function works as advertised, the proofing function is set at about 76 degrees - not terribly useful. The technician said the temperature can be set anywhere from 75 to 90 degrees, and could not be changed. When I commented that 76 degrees was about the same as proofing on the counter, he responded that "not everyone lives in Florida" - a very flippant response for a service person.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Microwave

Works very well. One of the features is that it heats up much faster. We are real fans of Advantium's Speed Cook function. The microwave works really well and we have used both the convection oven to cook meat, pizza, etc. We don't have to heat big conventional oven.

I love the versatility of this oven. One issue is GE changed the handle design but did not change the model number so buyer beware. We have all GE appliances in our installed by our builder but this one does not have the same handle as pictured. It is rounded and shorter making it look like it doesn't match. Also, the lower over buttons are backlit but the Advantium is not making it difficult to see the buttons if there is a glare or low lighting.
I would recommend this to a friend!
