Spacious, easy to clean and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a month since we got our cooktop. The install took some time since we had to scrape some countertop to fit it in but the installers were really nice and did a great job. The knobs are very sensitive and the burners light up immediately. No need to press hard and a gentle touch will get it started. I like the light that indicates whether a burner is on or off -useful if you have kids who also cook and a good safety feature. The burners are powerful and I hardly ever use it on full blast, more like low to medium. Cooktime for me has reduced, esp. since my previous one was old and super low power. I like the distance between the burners so utensils don't clang each other. Easy to clean steel - I use a gentle cloth and wipe with a natural water based product. No need to scrub. I am very happy and I hope it lasts a long time.

Major upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a 15 year old Jenn Air cooktop that we could no longer get parts for. The Bosch 800 is a major improvment. It is easy to clean, it is nice being able to move pots and pans across the cooktop easliy, and it heats more evenly and faster.

We are pleased with his recommendation and our decision to purchase the unit. After two months, it functions as described, excelllent control over the heat adjustment required for cooking and keeping food warm. Nicely constructed with metal knobs and easy-to-clean. Would recommend this product to anyone seeking a well-designed and functioning unit.

Cleaning

The steel surface around the burners, the base is very difficult to clean and easily scratches with any kind of material, cloth , paper towel, microfibre cloth. Suggest buy some other cooktop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love our new cooktop. The ease of cleaning alone makes it worth it. Just wipe it clean with a warm wet cloth and done. No more scrubbing. No rubbing the lettering off of lesser cooktops. Excellent heating and love the simmer burner. Would highly recommend this cooktop
