Efficient and Easy to keep clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 20 some years, my husband and I decided to remodel the kitchen. I searched the internet for "the best" cook top available. Bosch came up several times with very good reviews. We have a dealer in the area and after viewing the unit we were pleased with the appearance and specs. We installed it last week and extremely happy with the unit. It's easy to keep clean and works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works well, looks good

This lives up to the reviews of working really well and has a great look to go along with our dark graite countertop. The only issue we has is that the control knobs got a little discolored (a redish hue) even though we were very careful and only used water and a soft cloth.

After 2 year with it. I only wash it with soap and water and a sponge. Cause I don't want any scratches. Now is full of scratches and weird water stains like. One of the symbols is gone. I guess is more like a sticker. See pics. I always wanted a Bosch brand cooktop and now I hate it.

When I first chose my cooktop, I had another product in mind but my very knowledgeable salesman steered me to the 800 Series and I'm so glad he did. My last cooktop was the same size but the pots were always on top of each other. This layout is perfect. I can use five pots at once without a problem. The fact that a light goes on when the burners are lit is an invaluable safety addition. Wonderful product. Easy to keep clean, beautifully engineered - probably by someone who actually cooks!

Dang, this thing cooks!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holy cow. I've been living in the dark ages of cooktop technology my whole life. I cook a lot of asian stir-fries and the middle burner gets SUPER HOT. Things cook so quickly; it's amazing! I haven't utilized the simmer burner very much, but all the other burners are great as well! I take good care of it and cover up the unused burners while cooking to minimize cleanup and oil splatter. Oil splatters a lot out of my wok due to the quick heating of the oil and moisture in the food.
Overall, this is my favorite new appliance in my Bosch kitchen!!
I really want to buy the wok ring accessory to assist me in my cooking. I hope that works well!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great cooktop

Some of the cooktops just look like cooking grates that stick up high, these grates are slightly recessed and it gives you an industrial, sleek look. We where attracted to a Thermador and found out Bosch is the same parent company but at a much less expensive price, looks high end. The burners all have great control and the middle burner will boil a big pot of water quickly.
