This stovetop is a beast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We actually times how long it took to boil water, 6 minutes! I can fit 2 of my huge pots and one smaller one all at the same time! Only down side, it is a little bit of a reach to the center burner. I LOVE my new stovetop and can't wait for my double ovens!

Best cooktop I have ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched to Bosch from Samsung and I am loving it so far. The heat distribution is awesome. The black cook top looks really nice in our kitchen. It's easier to clean, grates are less heavy than other cooktops and overall very good quality.

Worth the wait!!!

First in the most important, never reported spec

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this cooktop. The simmer burner is terrific while the 19,000 btu middle burner makes short work of boiling large kettles of water. The grates are tough without being too heavy. They stay together without interlocking which helps with cleaning. The burners and knobs also come off to make deep cleaning easy. This unit has what the chef needs without a bunch of backlit or digital gimmicks.
Now the most important part. No manufacturer publishes specs on the distance between burners. Most units' center to center measurements are 7 to 8.5 inches. This does not cut it for large meals and large families. The Bosch has a generous 9.5 to ten inches large kettles, 12" skillets and other pots at the same time. This speeds cooking and also provides even heat because all cookware can be centers. No juggling! While the spread still isn't as large as many stove tops, it's about as big as we found without buying over the top commercial.

Design flaw? Grate too high far away from flame

It takes very very long to boil things even with 19000btu as the flame barely touch the pot bottom. I am disappointed at this product. Was looking forward to it so much but now I am so bummed. This is a very big flaw. Other than that I like everything else about it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrific stovetop
