The washer needed service after 3 use!

I like the features of this washer; however, I had some serious issues with the machine and I had to call a technician three times in the first two weeks after which I requested the washer to be replaced. It just quit during the wash and I could not even get my things out of it. Apparently, there was some problem with the board. I have used the replacement washer a few times so far and it seems to work fine. Interesting to note that two machines have quite different sounds even though they are the exact same models. It also seems that the new one vibrates less during the spin cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Has everything I didn't even know I wanted

When my old front loader died I had to look for another one. I looked at several models and brands but for the price, features and look, I bought the GE model. This washer has all the features I had missed with my 15-year-old front loader. The features I am thrilled with are pre-soak and delay wash. In addition, I have soooo many choices on temp, spin, type of clothing etc., even how soiled my things are. I love this washer. Linda

I picked this for the amount of features at this price point. I wanted the options, even though I might not use ALL of them every week. It's still nice to have when you do need them. So far, it works fine. I did notice that the softener well has water in it after a wash, not a lot, but there is water in it. It might be a leveling issue which I will work on.

This upgrade to my 20 year old washer was amazing! First, it knows how much clothes you have and adjusts water level accordingly, so you don't have to wait for a "full load".
And the spin cycle is so good my clothes practically come out so dry it needs very little time in dryer. More energy savings!

Not sure I like this front loader. Clothing smells

The clothing smells funny after being washed. I have used the cleaning cycle to clean the washer and same issue.
