Didn't last, multiple issues. Lasted about 4.5 years with service and repair along the way. Knob, issues with shocks, smell. To costly to repair this time so replacing with a new appliance

Horrible machine

I am glad they discontinued this model, so no one has to go through the nightmare of owning this machine again. I purchased my home in 2019 through the builder and had them install this washer and matching dryer. The washer vibrates and shakes my house and has shifter several times during a spin cycle. The machine vibrated so much that the plastic latch broke and the machine was stuck in lock. The rubber seal and glass on the door wore out within the first year. GE appliances is pure junk.

We love this washer. It’s very efficient and no matter what size of load you are washing, from a small to large load, it cleand, rinses, and spins effectively.

not worth the money!!!!

I my self did not buy. my grandmother how ever whom I live with did. we got it back in 2019 and let me tell u we have had problems with it for the last 2 years and have spent so much money trying to fix it. someone told us it was because some part needed to be fixed. so we did. it fixed nothing. now it won't drain and I have had 3 diffrent people come and look and it and tell me it just needs to be drained more often. and cleaned. so we have been doing it once a month. and it still won't drain. I have had to start doing our laundry else where. let me tell you 10/10 would not recommend.

Don't buy this model.

This unit is very unstable. The feet of the machine constantly need to be adjusted. If the feet are out of line (at least once a month they need adjusting) the machine shakes like crazy, makes a very loud rattling sound and shakes the whole house.
It sucks that I've been using this machine for five years and the rental company i rent the house from refused to provide an owners manual when we moved in. It was brand new machine and five years later the machine needs replacing due to the constant unbalancing of the feet. Maybe they installed it incorrectly. I don't know. But I don't think a wash machine should have to be replaced after only five years. Thankfully the cost is on the rental company and not me.
It's very difficult to clean the rubber lining and every other part of the machine that needs washing. Why are there so many parts to clean? I had previously owned a wash machine for 20 years that NEVER had a problem and never needed cleaning. Maybe because it was a top loaded. But another placed I rented from also had a top loader and there was never an issue. I think front loaders are more trouble then they are worth.
