Great washing machine

We have had no issues with this washing machine so far! The one had to be sent back due to making a very loud noise like a freight train was coming.

Love the simple features

Love the washer, easy to use and happy to be back with a front loader. What I'm not happy with is GE doesn't make the pedestals anymore for my new washer and dryer. The universal ones don't
fit they're 1" to wide.

Can't stand this washer

We moved into an apt complex that has this washer and it's accompanying dryer. The dryer is awesome, totally amazing... but this washer sucks butt. It's noisy as a Mack-truck racing through a cobblestone tunnel at 90mph and the clothes that come out of it smell disgusting.
Like mold - mildew - putrid.
The maintenance department here has replaced the filter(s), ran cleaners in it and tried changing the water temperature feeding into it... that can't get the smell out. All the Windows in this apartment were built in December of 2019, the appliances were put in here in March of 2020; we are the 2nd tenants of this apartment since it was built and the machine is roughly a year old...
The clothes that come out of it are gross and the noise is unbearable. It sounds like it is out of balance - every time. EVERY time; from one medium size towel in it to nothing but full on bedding (sheets/pillowcases from 1 king bed and two twin beds), to clothes for a weeks worth of wearing from one dad and two less than 13 year old boys - the noise is absolutely unbearable in each scenario.
This machine sucks.
