I just received this washer machine this morning after being without one for 4 weeks so today I have certainly been doing lots of washes and so far I love the display of the machine, quietness, and seems to be very efficient. I will update again after some more time using washer.

We got this GE model to replace our old one and this one is efficient. The spin cycle is do powerful that when it's done the clothes already feel dry! That saves us a lot of drying time and energy.

We bought this unit for our new home after being very impressed by a GE HE top loader we bought about 9 mos ago for our vacation home. We have not been disappointed--this unit has lots of options, is quiet and doesn't vibrate, and has a great capacity. GE is making has some great products at great prices these days--$ for feature they are better than the Korean brands that you see everywhere.

The second time we used it the rubber lining became twisted and remained so. The washer walks all over the place even with a light load. Washing seems to be fine so far. Only purchased because the home insurance would only replace ours with this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
