Terrible appliance

I am not happy with the design of the GE appliance. According to the reviews there is a design flaw in the tub. You need to correct it before selling any more of the dryers. It is an inconvenience to the consumer. The dryer that I purchased has this flaw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very poor construction.

Dryer was the standard appliance for a brand new condo. Made loud noise with drying anything and after 2 repair trips and resolution they replaced it with another dryer. That dryer had a similar issue, but they were able to resolve with one trip out. Now after only 3 years of use, the dryer stopped working at all in the middle of a cycle and repairman diagnosed blown thermostat. After waiting for that part and repairing it found that while the dryer would now turn on and tumble, it would not heat. Ultimately repairman state the entire electrical control panel would need to be replaced and better to get new dryer. What a terrible experience and now have to purchase and entire new washer/dryer set as GE no longer makes the 27" stackable dryer. UGH... Will never buy another GE appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
