[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the SK8000 model prior to the SK9000, the picture quality difference is significantly better and worth the couple of hundred more. LG was selected because they have the only side angle viewing TV available and this is what we needed for the intended room, side viewing is possible with this TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only 2 weeks old, and so far I am extremely pleased. It is hard to believe how sharp the picture is on a live football broadcast. Colors are extremely vibrant,with very sharp detail. Even during the day,when the room is light, I get a very good picture with a good viewing angle. Still trying to get used to more of the features, but am very happy.

Great picture - smart features and apps are poor

I bought this TV because the picture looked great in the store, but also was told the browser works great and apps could replace my old setup. I had an older TV w/ a computer connected via HDMI. The picture is great, but the apps are very poor and the browser is extremely slow. I am now about to connect a new PC tower via HDMI again so I can browse and stream music from any website I want. Extremely disappointed with the "smart" features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
