[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the thermostat went out in our 21 year old refrigerator, we were sad to see it go. The ice maker and water dispenser hadn’t worked for some time so we shopped around for a new refrigerator. We wanted something a bit smaller and we found this Whirlpool. There’s just the 2 of us at home so we didn’t need as much room and this 33” unit fit in our space perfectly. We’re very happy with it.

Quiet operation and super cold fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our refrigerator installed now for about 3 weeks and we really enjoy it. The refrigerator it replaced was a very old Amana refrigerator (the water and ice dispensers hadn't worked for years). We are happy with the water filtration and being able to easily access water and ice via the dispenser. I'd say the noise levels of the Whirlpool and the old Amana are about the same. It's only noticeable when ice is finished freezing and the ice drops into the holding tray, when the ice maker is being re-filled with water, or when you open the refrigerator and then close it and it has to cool down again for a few minutes. The water dispenser location takes a little bit to get used to, since it is in front of the ice dispenser. Overall, we are very satisfied customers.

All good but the knocking sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Similar to a 20 year old refrigerator I had this model is just fine. My complaint as in the title is that it occassionaly makes a fairly loud knocking sound. This sent me to my apartment door twice and gave me concern as I went to bed but eventually I located the refrigerator as the source. Everything else seems okay. I like the slightly smaller ice cubes and the water dispenser although the base and surrounding area seem of less sturdy plastice than the model I had.. The freezer section is a bit larger than my previous model and unlike my friend's bottom freezer doesn't require digging down to find things.
The butter and egg rounded cover at the top of the refrigerator door was cracked on delivery and since it has only been a week I do imagine that a replacement will be sent.
